Amy Shipley

 I'm a proud 4th generation Milton native. I love the area and all of the different ecosystems it has to offer.  When I'm not working it's not uncommon for me to be kayaking or hiking.  It is my love of nature that has helped me choose to use naturally based color and home care options for the salon when possible.

I tend to be a little on the eclectic side which has played a big part in the looks I love to help my guests achieve. For instance, I'm a punk rocker at heart who loves antique lamps.  One of my specialties is short haircuts so whether you want an edgy razor-cut or a classic Audrey Hepburn pixie, I'm your gal.  I can give you natural dimensional color or something that makes a bolder statement.  I can hook up those curly girls, too!

I'm also a self-proclaimed foodie who likes to try different restaurants in the tri-county area.  I absolutely love for my guests to keep me in the know of any new eateries they have tried or interesting recipes they come across. Especially if there is bacon involved.

I love to educate my guests on why I'm doing what I'm doing or using a specific product.  This career has provided such a fabulous opportunity for the science and art I love to come together.  I may get a little excited about that.  I take every opportunity I can to stay on top of my education so that my guests can have the most up to date styles and information.
